What You Can Tell About A Woman From The Way She Walks

In our western culture we sit so much, hours and hours a day, year after year.

This causes our pelvic and hip muscles to tighten up and constrict unless we actively work to stretch them out.

We are not designed to sit so much, we are designed to be moving around all day.

People in many other cultures sit in a deep squat to wait at a bus stop, use the bathroom or just hang out.

Most of us in western culture could not stay in a deep low squat, where your butt is hovering above the ground, knees apart, for more than a few minutes, let alone hours.

This is because most of us have chronically constricted pelvic muscles from all of our sitting.

When our pelvic muscles stay contracted they allow less blood to flow through the muscles.

This is significant for our sex life because erection and arousal is essentially blood flow.

When the pelvic muscles surrounding your penis, clitoris or sexual organs of your own designation, stay tight then less blood can get to the region.

This means that we may not be feeling all of the sensation that is potentially available to our bodies.

Relaxing the pelvis by stretching and massaging the muscles is essential for allowing the sexual organs to work at their optimum function, for the best health possible and to experience the most pleasure.

A report in the respected Journal of Sexual medicine found that sex researchers could tell with an incredible 81% accuracy from watching videos of women walk whether or not she had vaginal orgasms.

“It is that the vaginally orgasmic women do not have blocked pelvic muscles. As a result, the walk is natural, with the natural unobstructed connection between leg, pelvis, and spine movement,” says Brody.” from this article.

What they noticed and watched for in the women that correlated with vaginal orgasm was:

“The “fluidity, energy, sensuality and freedom” of the women’s gait. Long, confident strides and a certain swing to the hips were factors, too. There’s a practical lesson here: The experts suspect that women who don’t walk this way (that is, who probably haven’t had vaginal orgasms) may have overly tight muscles in their pelvises and backs that are restricting their sexual pleasure.” (from this article.)

It was an extremely small study, but there is something here that is relevant for both men and women.

Releasing pelvic constriction could allow for more sexual pleasure.

The solution?

An awareness and integration of a little pelvic care into your life when you can. Any of these options can make a difference, even for 5 mins a day.

Dance to one song as a work break or when you get up in the morning or home from work.

Stretch in ways that feel good in your hips, especially try doing some hip circles. Or prioritize some yoga or Pilates.

Try and sit a little less, or get up every hour and walk for 1-2 mins, walk more in general if you can!

Experiment walking with longer strides and a little more swing in your hips. Can you really enjoying the sensations in your hips as you walk?!

All of these are good solo options for relaxing the muscles of the pelvis, but perhaps the most pleasurable is to ask for butt massage from your lover and you could return the favor!

If we take care of our pelvis, it will take care of us with much more pleasure!

Have you noticed when you move your hips more you experience more pleasure?

What are your favorite ways to relax and release the muscles of your hips and pelvis?

Have a stupendous hip-centered, pleasurable week!
